Museum at Schloss Lackenbach

Standing right next to Hotel Zum Oberjäger is the museum “Der Natur auf der Spur” (“On the tracks of nature”), which draws a clear connection to the Hotel: In addition to fascinating information about the flora and fauna of the region, a significant portion of the exhibition is dedicated to hunting. With “The Courtly Hunt of the Esterházys", visitors gain intriguing insights into a tradition which continues to be nurtured to this very day. The adjacent café offers small snacks, cakes and refreshments throughout the day. Visits to the museum as well as the playground are free for our guests.
